Do I need to connect my bank account?
No. Sorted never asks for bank logins. You enter income and expenses yourself or import a CSV your bank already provides, so your data stays yours.
How does it work out GST?
For GST-inclusive amounts Sorted applies the standard 1/11 rule automatically on every receipt and line, and flags whether an item is deductible — so your BAS figures are ready.
Can my accountant use the export?
Yes. With one click you generate a categorised pack — a clean CSV, a PDF summary and the matching receipts — for any BAS quarter or the full financial year, ready to hand over.
Is it really free?
The ledger is free forever, including deductible and GST flags and exports, and it works without an account. Receipt scanning and the full accountant pack are on the paid plans.
