Delete your account & data
Sorted. is operated by L CUBE YOO PTY LTD (ABN 18 691 176 940). This page explains how to delete your account and the data we hold for it.
Delete your whole account
To permanently delete your Sorted. account and its data:
- Email support@yeahsorted.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account".
- We confirm the request is from the account holder, then permanently delete the account.
- Prefer to keep a copy first? Export your ledger to CSV from the app before requesting deletion.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes, from our active systems:
- Your profile (name, email and login credentials).
- All financial records you entered — income, expenses, categories, GST and deductible flags.
- Receipt images and any bank statement files you uploaded or imported.
- Your books, recurring items and accountant-pack share links.
What we keep, and for how long
- Deletion is completed in our active systems within 30 days of your request.
- Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 90 days.
- We may retain a minimal record of billing/transactions (handled by our payment processor, Stripe) where required to meet legal, tax or fraud-prevention obligations. This does not include your ledger data.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove data:
- Delete individual transactions or receipts directly in the app at any time.
- Or email support@yeahsorted.com to have us wipe your records while keeping your account open.
